Careerarise (“Careerarise”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, protect, and disclose information when you use the Careerarise Mobile Application and the Careerarise Website, together referred to as the “Services”.
By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
We may collect the following information when you create an account or use the Services.
1.1 Personal Information
Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Phone number
- State selected by you
- Account and authentication information
- Password information in securely protected/hashed form
We do not store your password in plain text.
1.2 Account and Learning Information
When you use the Services, we may collect and maintain information related to your learning and account activity, including:
- Course enrollments
- Purchased courses
- Purchase and payment status
- Video viewing progress and last viewed position
- Test attempts and results
- Scores, marks, and percentages
- Login sessions
- Learning progress and progress reports
This information is used to provide and improve your learning experience and to maintain your account and course access.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

- To create and manage your Careerarise account
- To authenticate and secure your account
- To provide access to courses and learning resources
- To maintain course enrollments and purchases
- To track learning progress and video viewing progress
- To provide mock tests, practice tests, and results
- To generate learning and progress reports
- To process and maintain records of payments and purchases
- To provide customer support
- To communicate with you regarding your account or use of the Services
- To maintain security and prevent unauthorized access or misuse
- To maintain, operate, and improve the Services
- To comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements
3. ACCOUNT AUTHENTICATION
Careerarise currently supports account authentication using email and password and/or phone number and password, depending on the available registration/login method.
Careerarise does not provide any third party or social media login through Google, Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, or similar platforms.
Social media icons or links provided on the Services, where available, are intended only to direct users to our external social media pages and do not constitute social login functionality.
4. COOKIES AND LOCAL STORAGE
Cookies and local storage may be used for necessary functionality, authentication/session management, and user preferences.
The Services may use these technologies to maintain login/session information, user preferences, theme settings, sidebar preferences, and other necessary functionality.
Careerarise does not use cookies or local storage for its own advertising or analytics tracking.
Third-party services integrated with the Services may use their own technologies subject to their respective privacy policies.
5. PAYMENT INFORMATION AND THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT SERVICES
Careerarise uses Razorpay as a third-party payment service provider for processing payments.
When a payment order is created, Careerarise may provide Razorpay with information necessary to create and identify the order, such as:
- Amount
- Currency
- Course identification information
- Student/account identification information
- Order/receipt information
When creating a payment order, Careerarise does not send your name, email address, phone number, state, postal address, course progress, or test results to Razorpay.
Payment information entered during the payment process is handled through Razorpay’s payment interface and is subject to Razorpay’s own privacy policy and terms.
Razorpay may independently collect information required for payment processing, fraud prevention, security, compliance, and related purposes.
6. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Careerarise may use third-party services and technologies to provide certain functionality, such as payment processing, video delivery, web content, or other technical services.
These third-party providers may process information according to their own privacy policies and terms.
Careerarise does not control the privacy practices of third-party services and recommends reviewing their respective privacy policies where applicable.
7. INFORMATION SHARING
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share or provide access to information with trusted service providers when necessary to operate the Services, provide requested functionality, process payments, provide technical services, maintain security, or comply with legal obligations.
For example, payment-related order information may be shared with Razorpay as described in Section 5.
We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, court order, or a lawful request from a competent authority.
8. DATA RETENTION
We retain personal and account information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, provide course access, maintain learning and transaction records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and protect our legitimate interests.
When information is no longer required for these purposes, it may be deleted or securely disposed of in accordance with applicable requirements.
9. DATA SECURITY
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Therefore, while we take reasonable steps to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. DATA TRANSFER AND PROCESSING
Your information may be processed or stored using service providers or infrastructure located in India or other locations where our service providers operate.
Where applicable, we take reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is handled with appropriate security and protection measures.
11. ACCOUNT DELETION
You may request deletion of your Careerarise account and associated personal information by submitting an account deletion request through:

You may be required to provide sufficient information to verify your account before the deletion request is processed.
Upon completion of the deletion process, account information and associated personal data may be permanently deleted and may not be recoverable.
Certain information may be retained where required or permitted by applicable law, including information necessary for legal, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or transaction-record purposes.
12. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY
Careerarise is an educational platform intended for users preparing for competitive examinations and is not specifically directed toward children under the age of 13.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without appropriate authorization where such authorization is required by applicable law.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information to us without appropriate authorization, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
13. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND LINKS
The Services may contain links to third-party websites, including social media platforms and other external websites.
Careerarise is not responsible for the privacy practices, content, security, or policies of third-party websites.
We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any third-party website you visit.
14. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for taking reasonable steps to protect access to your account.
If you believe that your account has been accessed without authorization or that your account credentials have been compromised, please contact us promptly.
15. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, technology, legal requirements, or privacy practices.
When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy.
